Review by hotel critic
As a corporate retreat, the Residence Inn by Marriott Beverly Hills presents a mixed bag. The room I stayed in, while comfortable and clean with a kitchenette, felt cramped for our group, and we faced issues like dark lighting and a lengthy wait for warm water in the shower. The hotel's amenities, however, aimed at business travelers cannot be overlooked. The 920-square-foot conference space and reliable Wi-Fi were conducive to remote working, allowing our team to collaborate efficiently. the 24-hour reception provided ease of access for any questions we had, although there was some reluctance in their assistance. The bar and lounge area served as a decent spot for informal meetings. While the breakfast was basic and the restaurant staff appeared detached, the standout service came from Felix at the front desk, whose welcoming demeanor enhanced our experience. The location near attractions and valet parking, though at $36 a day, added convenience. The hotel has potential for business travelers, but there are clear areas for improvement.
